2009 was a great year for us. We moved our cat to Calgary with us, which actually made me feel more at home. We had a million visitors and made a million trips home. We got married, we bought a house, we bought a puppy! That’s a lot of real life things happening in a short period of time.
So tonight we’re celebrating. Not by getting together with friends and having a big party (though we did talk this over and realized we don’t have enough friends here and the ones we have aren’t interested). But by wearing PJ’s, drinking champagne and orange juice while playing video games and watching movies. We might watch the ball drop or we might celebrate Ontario New Years and go to bed early.
I have a lot to do before I get back in my PJ’s so I’ll leave you with a picture. One of my favorite New Years was 2007. My friends Sarah and Britt came to Waterloo and we all went to John’s friend’s house for a little party. We spent most of the night like this:
I miss these ladies! I’m currently trying to get Britt to move out here. I found her a job to apply for and I’m going to find her more!!
Happy New Years Everyone!
