10 pounds! According to my at home scale, he’ll be weighed properly tomorrow (birth: 8lbs 2oz)
24 inches (birth: 22 inches)
Disposable Size 1. I’m going to pick up the cloth diapers this week!!
0-3 months and 3 months depending on the brand. The newborn clothes are all too short, that’s why we moved up a size. However the 0-3 and 3 month clothes are too wide for him right now. Poor guy.
He’s started feeding for only 10 minutes at a time, which is about half of what it was before. He usually goes 3 hours in between feedings (instead of 4). I’m not going to try to change it. We are going on his cues and I feel really good about it.
Down at 10, up at 2, 5 and 9. I could start our day at 5 am but I choose not to.
Henry is usually a happy baby. He coos and squeaks to himself all the time. However when he’s upset, he’s SCREAMING upset. There is no sad whimper or small cry. It’s a full on SCREAM. It’s usually gas related and after a few toots and burps he’s good as new.
-to be pulled up from laying to sitting
-tummy time for max. 15 minutes
-to look over someone’s shoulder
-walks with Rudy
– gas bubbles
-peeing while having his diaper changed (he’ll cry right before so I know to block the flow!)
-falling asleep in the evenings
This month has been the best month of my life. I love every minute I get to spend with Henry. I love breast feeding because I selfishly get to spend that time alone with Henry staring at his cute face and listening to his cute noises. When John gets up in the mornings I get Henry, bring him to bed with me. We cuddle and fall in and out of sleep and it is the best way to spend my mornings. What did I do without him?
