Thanks for your lovely comments on my post yesterday! We had a 3.5 hour nap (even Rudy) and we were all in better moods for the rest of the day!
2 Things to start this off: 1) My “Pregnancy Week by Week” book tells me I’m in the 3rd trimester this week. 2) In 10 weeks I’ll be full term. Where did the time go? Does it seem crazy that I’m in the 3rd trimester? Because I honestly can’t believe it!
This week I’ve started up on my evening baths again. It was too hot before to even think about having a bath. It was cold showers only. But now since the evenings have been nice and chilly, I’ve started up with the warm baths again. Heavenly. I also started my prenatal yoga DVD again. I really missed doing it, especially the deep breathing part. Could anything be more relaxing? I also decided to start going to a yoga class once a week starting next week. I’m really excited about it! I found one in my small town. It’s like 2 minutes from my house!
Because William is due Dec. 5, I’m trying to get everything ready for Christmas way before then. First up? Shopping. I’m hoping to have all the gifts by the end of September so I can wrap them and mail out the ones I need to, by the end of October. I’ll definitely be decorating by mid-November. And then December can be relaxing. I’m pretty sure this baby will be late and I’ll be sitting around (which really means running around after Henry) just waiting and wondering why I did everything so EARLY! But if I leave everything the baby will come at like 37 weeks right? That’s just how it goes.
I have a pretty ambitious list of things I’d like to get done before the baby comes:
– Deep clean entire house
– Move guest room to basement (which means build guest room in basement)-John’s doing it in October
– Turn guest room into Henry’s room
– Get nursery ready for the baby
– Rearrange our Bedroom
– Finish all Christmas things
– Freezer meals (I did a few when pregnant with Henry and we ended up eating them all before he was born…)
– Replace a few baby items
That’s all I can think of right now, but I feel like there are more. When I say deep clean the house, I mean organize EVERYTHING as well as clean it. It’s an overwhelming thought. I’m trying to do 1 room per week since we have about 13 weeks left. I spent 3 hours on the laundry room/pantry last weekend and it looks awesome. I go in there just to look around. Hopefully I can do that to every room!
J: I think you should get another jugo juice…the spinach one.
R: I just had one last week
J: Well that’s not going to help you this week.
R: Do you think I need the iron, to stop feeling like I’ll pass out?
How sweet is he?
