As I’ve mentioned before, when we initially designed the nursery we made it pretty gender neutral with a green, grey and white colour scheme. But after having 2 boys (Click here for: Henry’s nursery and William’s nursery) live in there, it seemed a little too masculine for our little lady. So we decided to switch a few things around to make it more feminine. Mainly we switched the green out for purple. I really love how it turned out.
Please excuse how terrible I am at photographing rooms. On to the pictures:
The doorway: The bow and headband holder I made for her.
My beautiful bird/tree wall. Still my most favourite wall in the house.
Book shelf (my dolls from my childhood), rocking chair and blanket cupboard
Change table and Diaper pail
Closet with her name banner (made by Alison)
And there it is. A feminine nursery for a sweet little lady. Now if only she would make her grand entrance into the world soon.
