1) Monograms and Names on kids clothes, backpacks, ect.
a) Then I can’t reuse them for future kiddos. Since we want/have a large family, and we are a 1 income household: things need to be re-used. Even having to write Henry’s name on all his items for preschool made my stomach turn. But I can (hopefully) remove it after. Or William will have shoes with Henry written on the inside. Poor middle kid.
b) Then strangers know your kid’s names. I can just picture a completely scary stranger walking up to one of my kids and using their name to become “friends”. Terrifying.
2) Smocked Clothing
It may be a geographical thing, but I didn’t even know what smocked clothing was until I started blogging (Hello Southern Folks!). I just don’t really get it.
3) Skinny Jeans without boots
I wear them. Because it’s in style. But really without the boots it just makes my thighs look giant. Bring back the Flared Jeans!
4) The Top Knot
I’m trying to love it, but it just looks so messy to me. I do mine more like a bun, but there is still something weird about how it looks on me. Maybe it’s my bangs (Must have bangs due to post-baby re growth and a cow-lick I was born with).
What don’t you guys love that everyone else seems to?
