I’ve been getting tons of me time in lately! For a long time I was honestly always at home, or play dates, or running errands with the kids, or going on outings with the kids. It was fine and I was happy. But now that I’m doing some things on my own, I didn’t realize how much I missed it! Here’s what I’ve been up to:
- Working out. I joined a fit club that meets twice a week. I love being able to exercise without my kids interrupting me, and I love the friends I’ve made there! Plus I can so easily talk myself out of working out, that this kinda guarantees that I get at least 2 in each week. Win.
- Card Club. There is an art studio in my neighbourhood that hosts a card making club once a month. One of my friends took me to a session last year and I had so much fun that I decided to join this year. Crafting, wine, appetizers and great friends? Can’t really go wrong there. I am seriously loving this “me” time that I’ve been able to fit into my schedule. And I’m extra thankful for a husband who encourages it and loves his alone time with our kids.
